August is that time when farmers begin to focus on fall harvest. We celebrate the bounty and explore how the farmers of yesterday and today collect the harvest. See things like: old time threshing machines, modern combines, cotton picker, scythes, etc. Plus, explore the implements of the past in the Museum of Farming; find out why bees are important, and just have fun with a variety of activities for the entire family.
